This site provides information about the professional research and consultancy practice of Fred Brookes Cultural Research and Strategy, including current and past projects, future plans, my background and career. There are downloadable reports and publications, and the kind of tedious but important PQQ information required for intending clients’ procurement processes.
You can also find information about some of my other interests, more and less closely related to my professional work in culture and the arts, and a blog where I keep current ruminations and rants.
My research and consultancy practice includes work under my own name, as Fred Brookes Cultural Research and Strategy, and my work as an associate of Comedia, the leading cultural research partnership and think-tank with which I have been glad to be associated over some twenty years. This site is intended to make it easy for potential clients to find out whether what I can offer meets their needs, for colleagues and anyone else interested to keep track of what I am up to, and to provide a point of contact.
